EDIG needs not to be noticed. Indeed, since day one they were one of the 5 major forces to that were instrumental to start the digital data transmission.

From Intel plaing few of its VPs on EDIG Board, to Texas Instruments strting the DSP revolution, they all have heard of EDIG and know of it. Edig's Achaeles Heal has been that everyone who is someone in the fieled knows who they are, but no one was quite sure how the digital revolution and convergence would pan out, thus they did not sign on in a big way like the cell phone companies did with EDIG.

Seven years later and EDIG is still here, and all the makers of digital wigets know of EDIG, but now they will allso know that they will have to PAY UP...
