Folks that don't travel much can't really know how big a pain in the arse it is to get through some of the needless security (profiling works, ask any detective) and herded onto a plane where service is aweful at best. one trip to SE Asia on Singapore Air or in EU on several airlines will show you just how bad US airways have become.

The good news for EDIG is many people will choose to leave their laptops at home as long as they can have access to the Internet and entertainment while traveling. The success of the Crackberry is all you need to see the market for more portable devices.
