I think that as long as the infringers are put on notice prior to the expiration of the patents and the products and their market exposure are quantified to be infringing during the time the patents were in force, that legal battles could ensue beyond the 2015 date and still be valid...jmho.

New products utilizing EDIG technology after 2015 would not be subject to the same scrutiny.
