Your comment that follows was the exact rationale for the rise of the EDIG pps to $24+ dollars between CES 2000 and March of 2000, when the Tech. Bubble started deflating.

Everyone then was comparing EDIG to Qualcom which was in the upper $100s and had split at least twice. I recall a poster named WTMGUY who had visions of EDIG pps hitting $500 dollars...

Samsung was sharing a booth with EDIG, and had models of CAMERAS and CELL phones which were touted as future of tech gadgets to be developed...

The Tech Bubble burst of 2000 delayed development of the market which you note is about 25 billion now...

A filing by DM of a billion dollar law suit against Samsung will resuscitate EDIG's pps substantially. And, a Markman Hearing favorable to EDIG should have the market responding like early 2000.

Bearing in mind that PTSC is "sharing" its take with others, (the Leckrones), and EDIG will not; and considering that Flash based markets are just starting, there is no reason why EDIG pps should not do better than PTSC's...
