This might help evaluate their history, as compared to their stock's sharp rise.
Looks like one settlement last year....and lots of new infringers on notice.

Opti Inc. said Tuesday it filed a patent infringement lawsuit against eight companies, including three in the Silicon Valley, over two patents. The Palo Alto-based company (OTCBB:OPTI) said the suit, filed in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, names Sunnyvale-based (NYSE:AMD), San Jose-based (NASDAQ:ATML), Irvine-based (NASDAQ:BRCM), Japan-based , Sunnyvale-based (NASDAQ:SSTI), Hauppauge, N.Y.-based (NASDAQ:SMSC), Geneva-based (NYSE:STM) and Taiwan-based.
