Different industries, equals different terms, etc.

I'm talking about actual orders received and in progress at some point, but not yet completed and shipped. Therefore revenue cannot be shown, but can be stated as backlog.

Like I said, we don't know how edig defines backlog as such. I would think it is actual orders not yet completed and shipped. It even may be in the form  of a order to the manufacturing facility who then would proceed to buy and/or make the product.
