That thought could also be anticipated for Vivitar as well. When settled they will have a license to go wild and a partner if needed. This may entice the other companies in the same field to come forward if they're knowingly cheating....for fear of losing market share.

 I've been wondering why a company would be buying them at this point, this could be a reason.
