My point last night was more of "never say never".
I know EDIG tried in the past, and its results were less than stellar, but throughout history how many products failed on the first attempt to market and are now part of our everyday lives?
If (and when) the time is right again, and EDIG has a consumerized version of their tech in the works, we should not discount the possibilities at the time because of some pre-conceived notion EDIG should never get back into the retail end.
As for the money, "it will come" when investors (Mr. Market) realize the opportunity if a product is developed in the future for consumers as well... likely after Mr. Market sees results of the monetization as well, I'm sure.
