Disagree.....Statisical fact......there is lots and gobs of oil around....California had 31 refineries 30 years ago....Our population has doubled.....(that's 2 times more people for those of you in RIo Linda, which by the way I have been to many times and it's exactly the way Rush describes it) California NOW HAS 29 REFINERIES with twice the cars on the road as 30 years ago. Our prices's peak when one, (THAT'S ONE) refinery goes down for whatever reason. Our enviromental fervor in this state will not allow any new refineries, nuclear power, oil drilling, burning of coal.....etc..... to take place. There have been numerous times when the price of oil on the open market has gone up considerably and the price per gallon of gasoline in California has gone down......Go figure.....How about them apples...
