You say:

"So, I guess that I will never understand what you are saying."

YEP; the problems is a matter of definition of terms. When you start with looking for "absolute certainty" in matters that relate to human affairs as you state in the following sentence, ("Sure, to me, will always mean absolute certainty."), then you are lost to the discourse...

I can tell from your writings that you love MATH. Even in MATH., and STATISTIC, there is recognition of the concept that NORMAL CURVE, which is the dominant theory that governs questions relating to life and living things, is the tool used to predict questions that relate to living things, be it a bacteria, or Human beings. And the Normal Curve gives you a plus or minus two Standard Diviations level of predictability...

The legal standards of evidence which I posted in my last post to you are a recognition of the fact that in LIFE there are no abolute certainty .

You may have a good discussion with DESCART, KANT, or PLATO, on the philosophical meaning of absolute certainty, but even they will tell you that absolute certainty does not exist in Universe. Even entropy is not absulte...

And that was philosophy 101 lesson of the day...Lol...Lol...

Thanks PAUL, I have always enjoyed reading you...

Gil...
