I am not LL and I hope he returns to this board to give his inciteful input but I do know a little of EDig's game plan so I don't believe this ruling will have ANY EFFECT whatsoever on EDigs/DM efforts.

I have spoken to RP many times and he has been VERY consistant in telling me that these IP lawsuitws WILL BE A ONE TIME SETTELMENT. THERE WILL BE "NO" FURTHERE EFFORT TO COLLECT ANY MONIES DOWN THE ROAD......NO LICENSING.....NO NUTTIN....

This board has been repleat with "licenseing deals" as part of the settlements (if any) and it just aint so according to my latest info.

So this ruling (if it happens) will be meaningless to EDig because it has no intention of "going down the road" to find infringers of infringers of infringers......The settlement, if any, will include all that upfront from the original infringer.
