You're right, more careful reading is in order...

annual U.S. revenues of more than $20 billion from what we believe are infringing products from such companies

 'such compaines' would mean companies such as or like the 8 we've sued so far, not just from these 7 (or 8). I had read it initially as being tied to the companies they were planning to sue next (the 7). This is the reason I'm not a lawyer.

I'm sure the 7 represent a very significant portion of that revenue, but we're not going to be able to use the $20 billion figure to even speculate at possible future win or settlement amounts - which is just as well since (as you know), it's way to early for that anyway.
