A while ago when I asked RP how the 174 "infringers" were identified he told me the investigation started with looking at all the patents applied for and granted these infringers where these infringers referred to any EDig patent in their applications. When it was found that the "infringer" REFERRED TO ANY EDIG PATENT in their application that company became (as they say in police investigations) a person of interest.

(I have to say that had to be one hellova job)

I mentioned this a while back and some of you did a little research and came up with a few companies who had applied for patents referring to EDig's in their applications.

My question/request has anyone investigated the latest 7 named in the DM/EDig lawsuit as infringers to see if any of their patents refer to any EDig patents??? I am not so sure I am capable of doing so but think it would be a very interesting exercise and quite interesting to find out.
