Then you need to move your money into something whose direction is up....wherever that may be. You can only take what they give you.

Take a look at FRO...was paying a dividend of almost 12%....which may be a bit less now because the stock moved north. It was a great buy a year ago...capital appreciation and high dividend yield. Due your DD as I was turned onto it by a friend who is doing well....certainly not a guarantee for the future. There are others like that.

But one settlement and lots of our worries disappear.

That doesn't explain or justify current rates...just a different perspective.
