I remember that from long ago. They had a commercial which went something like, " Piston engine go chug-chug....Mazda engine go hmmmm". That's as close as I remember. :>):>)

Wasn't the reason that design never caught on because of seal problems? Did they ever contend that the design was more efficient than a piston engine. I don't remember that either.
