Not the processor....the process of moving data from the sensor to the flash...be it removable or embedded.

Was the Vivitar deal over image files to flash or audio files to flash.

That was my consideration. Vivitar ask to have their case combined to the 2nd case. e.Digital/DM noted to the court, that the case was a separate indifferent use of the patents and should not be reassigned.

Was it for imaging or audio?

I only got carried away with the possibilities of having the process self contained on the image sensor CMOS.
