I want to thank everyone for dog advise...my wife is from Newfoundland, Canada...guess what she wants???...not going to happen.

Friends have an Ardale...smart cookie...our friends bedroom is in a loft 2nd floor...this dog knows they come down those steps at 0600 every day...he greets them on his back looking for a belly scratch.

My wife is in L.A. for a few days...her client has two??? and both on prozac.

I may just go to the shelter and get "a dog"...all I ever had and what a great friend...
