Yep, that makes sense. As RP has stated, EDIG has wanted to settle, but not with excessive terms.

I wish the case would go away as I'm sure it can't help eVU sales, but not at a great expense. I don't know what level of damages Wencor is seeking, but we can bet it is not a cheap case. If EDIG takes this to the end due to Wencor not wanting a resonable agreement, EDIG stands to pay a pile-o-cash in legal fees. This makes those two early license deals even more important as I beleive the pear shaped wonder really wanted to bleed EDIG of their cash. It didn't work.

May, 2009, is not that far away and it will probably be about that time that the airlines recover to start buying more IFE. We have enough cash and available credit to make it that long without any further license deals and I suspect we'll see more prior to the court date.
