"it does require some minimul amount of RAM to operate and given its pop/stack between cache 1-2 buffers to achieve same,"

The high speed cache is it.....SRAM, sized to one read/write block of the flash...

Utilizing a duel cache scheme, as you note above, is for streaming data. They have two configurations explained one for streaming and yet another for advanced streaming.

There's yet a single cache scheme. Depending on what they are designing determines what schemes to utilize.

For all three, the function from flash is the same.

The tiny cache schemes are what eliminate Normally associated large cheap capacitor DRAM components. SRAM is all transistor memory and way more expensive, however, because of their patented concepts from flash, they only need utilize very tiny amounts.

If a process is utilizing a large status quo RAM configuration, shadowing a complete file along with whatever else is needed in the way of directive structures...etc to RAM resource and you unplug a flash storage module....the file should continue to execute, this process will not be infringing.

e.Digital emulates that shadowing process between the cache and flash with a paging process.....interrupt it and the file will not execute.

If they are beating these companies for this paging process, this is BIG time BIG.
