IMO, noting more than a pet project keeping them front and center competing with their technology. Seems this type of effort is necessary in order to have a shot at legal conquests over IP infringement.

There is only one thing that e.Digital need do in the end, follow the model MSFT set. HP is MSFT, Dell is MSFT, Gateway is MSFT.....etc

e.Digital does not have to manufacture anything directly, just support those that offer their methods with new ideas of implementation.

IMO, the industry at large is going through a consolidation, if you have nothing in the way of significant IP to offer in the way of advanced memory directive, you're done.

When the talking heads speak of renewable enterprise, eliminating the one time dedicated ASIC, other than very simple, is washed up.
