I know one thing....it's nice to see what I have been preaching for some time now is very close to what is noted in the article, down to the 300byte RAM....and the NOR and NAND usage.

Funny thing, NAND was not prevalent in 1996 where Compactflash was devised with NOR. The article seems a bit ahead of it's time noting Compact flash and NAND together in 1996.
