We don't currently know if SAMSUNG will or won't settle yet. The previous 5 settlements took place over 5 to 6 month period from each other. The fact that LG settled first didn't mean that SANYO was putting up a long term fight just because it settled last.

The "jury" is still out on SAMSUNG...pardon the pun.
