"I did notice from your display that all 6 have something in common......FlashR. Is this the lynch pin of EDIG's IP? Without it, would EDIG be just another "also ran"company or does EDIG have any other unique IP they can either cash in on or use to distinguish itself in either developing new products or improving on the existing one."

"something in common......FlashR." why is it that you only see what they have in common....and miss the point of my post of what they do not have in common?

"Is this the lynch pin of EDIG's IP?" I gave you my opinion of what FlashR is in my post....it's NOT THE WHOLE BALL OF WAX

"you have me at a disadvantage when you speak in technical terms" There was absolutely nothing technical in my comments.....they were of the PR's e.Digital released noting the differences they convey.

"There's some doubt in my mind, however, that the eVU, will ever produce the revenue we thought it would unless the company finds other markets for it."

As a device, I don't care if they produce anything from it, or not. If they do manage some scratch form it great. I see it as an evolving development platform.....where they market application to the industry at large.

Application will be their bread and butter, they are after all, an absolute authority on their own tech and have the ware with all to expand on it.

IMO, FlashR is an audio only application, as I remember reading one of the earlier descriptions of it....However, we have Olympus(an image company) settling for ALL patents foreign and domestic including FlashR.

I'm unable to locate that former description of FlashR....but I remember it distinctly.
