I wonder what the reason is that the SAMSUNG settlement is taking considerably longer than the other 6 settlements, although it now appears to have concluded.

I am sure that all conditions stipulated by DM are negotiable, as these stipulations were the baseline DM set up for taking the case on a contingency basis. Now that the risks are better known and the results are tangible, anything is possible...and negotiable.

1) one time settlement as was the case in the previous six cases

2) Buy out

3) Settlement and investment stake

One thing for certain is that this continues to move forward to our advantage.
