IMO I think we might hear that the ink is on the paper before the 19th.Generally lawyers pad the date they give to the court so that they will have plenty of extra time to make sure the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed. I could be wrong but I seem to remember that in some of the previous settlements that additional filing dismissing suits came early. Correct me if I 'm wrong.

Also IMO Samsung will make the settlement public

A. if they buy our patents then they will want the world to know how much they spend so that when DM starts going after other companies they will be able to get large settlements. I think Samsung whats the world to know that they want to control flash.

B. I seem to remember seeing a lot of other Samsung settlement be made public.

Just my opinion but I think we will know something this week and I hope it will be enough to show a profit for all that have been here waiting and praying for the last 10 years and also to the newbies.
