Good questions.
Maybe there is a misunderstanding what goes on at an EDIG SHM, and they have webcasted them in years past.
- idle chit chat before mtg is called to order
- mtg called to order 2PM
- RP reads SEC stuff, legal comments etc
- RP asks if anyone in the room has not yet voted and if so passes them a ballot
- ballots collected, RP states the items have passed by X majority (I think it's 2/3 or more) and makes an official recording for legal reasons
- a presentation or 2, power point type w/Fred leading the charge
- RP mediates, answers questions during the presentation(s) if help is needed
- Q&A begins at about 2:30 or a bit later
- mtg concludes at 3
- people hang around, chat amongst themselves
- people approach BOD members and ask prying questions with no results
- everyone leaves and heads for a bar...hahaha
- EDIG puts out a PR highlighting what they can legally report
- Agora folks chime in with posts, we all get whacko and argue until the next SHM
Anything "sensitive" or too early for it's time is not discussed nor questions answered. It is handled very professionally I might add.
It's really not that big of a deal, but it's a pleasure to be there and meet fellow share holders, the EDIG BOD, and mingle.
Oh, forgot one thing...there is usually 1 or 2 disgruntled guys who get a little testy and ask hard questions that cannot be answered, or they complain about something, and accomplish nothing.
That about sums it up.
