SHM Questions

I will not be at the SHM this year. Here are some questions for someone to ask either during or after (and hopefully report back?) 1. What does "raise the bar on our licensing terms" really mean? Does it necessarily equate to higher settlement amounts (licensing fees) than we have received thus far - at least in some cases? 2. Will DM still be involved in negotiations for license fees with those companies that have approached e.Digital apart from current litigation efforts? That is, will DM still receive 40% (or some other percentage) of any license fees secured from companies who have not been named in any current litigation? 3. Are any of the three recent orders or upcoming trials with airlines doing business with e.Digital directly or is Mezzo (or another partner) involved with all of them? Does e.Digital enjoy a greater profit potential by doing eVU business directly rather than through partnerships such as Mezzo? 4. Will the next generation eVU include any technologies that were obtained for use by the company as the result of recent cross-licensing agreements? - Sinkman
