You do notice that it's displayed in 3 columns?

2008, 2009, and difference....

Reading a line item from left to right , compares 2008 to 2009....and shows a difference, red or green(+ or -)..... If you total the difference column it adds up to the aggregate difference.

Each column 2008 and 2009 should add up to the corresponding reported aggregates, if it doesn't, something is missing in the report.

The only issue that might confuse is the company Davric . For 2008, they have 2 option's issues having a share count that totals in the respective aggregate. I added the options to the established shares to get a total Davric share count for 2008...5,798,552....subtracting that from the 2009 share count gives a number... 1,059,058 relating to other unidentified purchases.

other than that it's pretty straightforward.
