No, I didn't say 7 more were ready to settle. The 7 I think you're referring to are the foreign parent companies of the US companies (i.e, Panasonic Corp, Canon Inc). DM is attempting to reach a settlement agreement so they won't have to deal with the Hague Convention of 1971 which I guess is a lot of red tape for all involved.

These 7 (or maybe 8) haven't yet been served by DM. The judge gave DM until 29 January to either settle, serve them a summons or get a waiver of service for each of the foreign companies.
