I agree whole heartedly with your assessment of EDIG, the investment, but as in any undertaking, a little luck doesn't hurt. EDIG was lucky that it had the Polis group dedicated to seeing this through to the point where the timing was right to defend their patents.

The against all odds comments had to do with any penny stock actually making it, regardless of their tech, as the road is filled with challenges such as acquiring adequate financing, market conditions, etc etc

As for the election, it is the topic of the day, but since MA hadn't elected a Republican to the Senate since 1972 I still am convinced the outcome was not a solely a result of the quality of the campaigns, gritty or not. The President's visit seemed to clench the deal. Again, not about the campaign from where I sit, but to each his own.
