The math just does not fit right now IMO.
It is more likely the float will be largly spread around with new buyers scooping it up from existing owners, just as it was in 1999/2000, when the float was about 1/2 or less than now.
The other thing is, who of us here have seen OTCBB/PNK types buy back shares in the 1st place? Once we qualify for NASDAQ listing and make the grade, then it's another ball game. I'm fairly certain it has happened, but who and how to find out, not a clue.
Good time on this topic to mention, based I think Mar-2009, there were 2869 share holders of record held in street name with a broker, and that does not mean the number of people, but the number of accounts. I.E., I hold EDIG in 3 accounts. Just a guess, there are in the neighborhood of 1500 - 2000 holders of this stock.
Rather than a share buy back, I'd like to see 2869 grow above 10000, making a demand from owners, to part with a portion of their shares a little at a time on the rise into the dollars. A senario far better than EDIG spending their operating cash, to improve the PPS and control larger than 4.4% of the shares outstanding.
I would like to see DRVEN's opinion on this.
