And by getting a group of the infringers to sign up "Agreements" that pay past the expiration dates of the patents, (something they are doing now, we hope), under the exceptions to the Supreme Court decision), they assure themselves of some income before they proceed with litigation further. This would be the same as though they had executed agreements with their patners in the past...

Once they have bunch of these Royalty agreements signed up, then they can proceed with their TIER II cases aginst the Biggees such as APPLE and go through a MARKMAN HEARING, after which they may follow it with DECLARATORY JUDGMENT proceedings against the remaining defendants...

DM took a year planning this before signing up with EDIG, and it is unfolding before our eyes...
