Great post. Everything you say, such as having a sales force, a Marketing Director, etc., makes total sense for a corporate entity with a BUSINESS PLAN that called for operating at the retail level, selling products based on their technology...

EDIG tried this during the Collier years and almost landed in Bankruptcy Court. Oh, I am sure in time there will an expansion of the personnel as needed, mostly in the R & D area, exploring various permutations of their TECH, protected by their patents, creating new FIRSTS in the FLASH UTILIZATION ARENA. But expanding "SALES DEPARTMENTS" to sell widgets is not on the top of EDIG'S list of things to do just yet...

IMO EDIG's PLAN has always aimed at selling their technology to OEMS who would have all those elements you list to make and sell widgets. They tried to do this by forming partenerships and it did not work. Now, DM is doing a BANG UP job acheiving those objectives through legal actions...

That is the reason this has taken so long, ans that is the reason why the pps is at $.13. The "elements" RP is talking about IMO relate to factors that will convince "The Investment Commuinty" that EDIG'S PLAN of becoming the QUALCOM of the FLASH usage is for real and this is more than aother PATENT TROLL squeesing a million here and a million there by suing everyone under the sun...

Either way you look at it, we are coming to the end of the saga, and EDIG'S HAND just got stregnted yesterday when the President signed the National Health Care Act. For hidden in that ACT is a provision that strengthens the rights of the PATENT HOLDERS...
