DM controls the direction of this company....not management.

Therefore, they get the attention, if their 75% chance of a win, not to be confused with a settlement, is unattainable....the company ends up in limbo no matter what contribution you feel management might, or should garner.

For me, the only thing management do is be vigilant when opportunity allows in keeping the tech in the lime light...ie; IFE type considerations, and stay abreast with DM.

If they manage to gain contracts, great! However, I'm not stuck on it.
