Very nicely put, and I am confident there will be co-operation.
I noticed that one of the flags was processed by AGORACOM as a violation on Aug 9th. How about this for a suggestion.....
Allow HL's to continue their "assumed" duty, although it is NOT just for HL's, but all members here to contribute in keeping this forum free of offending posts, when they are a clear violation as interpreted by the flagging party, that HL's refrain from processing it, and leave the decision to AGORACOM? You are best suited to judge in an effort to be fair to all members.
I am not suggesting that we do this exclusively for eternity, but long enough to rule out anyone being personal in their decisions, as has been accused?
My request is a result of your member specific clarification as posted, but it should apply to all.
Effective immediately, whether you agree to conduct this as suggested or not, the next time I flag a post of ANYONE here, "instructions" will say: "NOTE TO ALL HL'S, DO NOT PROCESS...LEAVE THE DECISION TO AGORACOM."
How about we give this a try for lets say, 30 days and see what the result is?
Regards, DISCHINO.
