Below was reported in the last 10K annual report: 12/10/09 - Wolverine Data (TIC Computer)
Wolverine has agreed to make an undisclosed lump sum payment for past infringing sales and to pay a royalty for any on-going sales of products that practice e.Digital’s U.S. Patent 5,491,774 ('774).
> We recorded no revenue from this first license as no amounts have yet been reported pursuant to the terms of the license agreement.
> In December 2009 we licensed and settled with one defendant that agreed to make a future lump sum payment for past infringing sales and to pay a royalty for any on-going sales that practice our U.S. Patent 5,491,774
(I think I recall an e-mail/post which stated that Wolverine Data was not scheduled to make their lump sum/royalty payment until December 2010... after a full year)
3/1/10 - Ikegami
Ikegami has obtained a license and release on all e.Digital foreign and domestic patent rights and has agreed to pay an on-going royalty for the licensed rights.
3/9/10 - Roland
Roland obtained a license and release on the Company’s Flash-R™ patent portfolio and paid e.Digital a one-time licensing fee.
Gross Patent Licensing Revenue - Fiscal Year 2010 (ended 03/31/10)
1st Qtr 2010 (ended 06/30/09) = 0 No settlements in 1st Qtr
2nd Qtr 2010 (ended 09/30/09) = 1,250,000 Samsung
3rd Qtr 2010 (ended 12/31/09) = 0 (No payment from Wolverine yet)
4th Qtr 2010 (ended 03/31/10) = 1,600,000 Roland presumably paid 350,000
So the $25K or so just reported for 1st Qtr 2011 was from Ikegami. Presumably they will pay something around this amount in future quarters and we can also expect something from Wolverine to be paid in the 3rd Qtr.
I have no point to make... just trying to keep everything straight.
