I thought about asking RP if the FlashBack did indeed have an Intel chip in it as was stated, but couldn't the same functions be achieved vi an fpga/assic configuration with a dsp. I know he'd say it is confidential.

IMHO It's need a central microprocessor.

I'll look see which ones intel had out at that time that'd fit the bill n if strata-flash was one in-of itself.
