"btw...someone look this up...but the innovation announcement in dec 10--was the only time that i recall the pr stating that our patents were believed to be located in,,,cell phones, pdas, cameras..etc...but they stated "portable music players"...also in webcast they specifically stated that they were innovators with portable music players...and yet............they haven't sued apple.............................................................................."

A repeat....

Dr Pat Nunally came on board in 2006, spent about a year determining candidates for infringement in simple terms, then DM entered the picture in 2007, did their DD and the TX 7 was announced in Mar-2008 I believe.

A PR stated re: IP Monetization, said EDIG tech in cell phone, digital cameras, PDA's and camcorders back in 2008 if not sooner. The company has repeated the statement many times since.

Example in a Jan 8, 2009 PR of the 3rd settlement:

e.Digital’s Flash-R patent portfolio covers certain aspects of the use of flash memory, addressing today's large and growing portable electronics products market. The Company unveiled the first portable recorder with removable flash memory in 1993 and believes its patent portfolio to be essential to many consumer electronics products that utilize flash memory including cell phones, digital cameras, camcorders, PDAs and other popular devices. In September 2007 and March 2008, the Company filed its first Flash-R portfolio patent infringement litigation against eight defendants

Just FYI....
