Fred answered others saying he was under instructions not to comment further, other than the 8-K.
That does not make him a coward, it means he understands what's at stake and is following manditory guidence from DM.
Not the 1st or the last time mgmt, no matter who they are/were, to pass on a question.
People expect too much.
I was in favor of the comments/questions being asked, and I'm in favor of his non response.
