it's obvious to anyone with freshman knowledge of electronics, you've got RAM !
Woody Norris direct & cross exam
THE WITNESS: The sole memory was and is the flash memory. RAM was used for other functions, not for storing anyinformation relative to the data you talk, or whatever. Your voice, you're singing, whatever youput into it. It was only stored in flash memory.
BY MR. JAMESON:
Q Did you have an understanding as to whether this statement
which reflects the agreement between the examiner and you andMr. North precluded another memory, a RAM from being in a
device at all?
A I really didn't have that thought. But by the fact that
there's DSP in there and other functionality, microprocessor,
it's obvious to anyone with freshman knowledge of electronics, you've got RAM. And those drawings are in there. They weren'tchanged or modified or excluded. So RAM's part of this product. Has been from the beginning, and it still is.
