They did not go into detail, but either the light level, the ambient sound or both, could tell one is in a movie theatre. You'd also, enter in advance an auto reply for the date and time the movie starts, so when the phone senses light/sound, it goes into sleep mode of "I am at the movies and cannot be reached at this time. I will get back to you after 7:30PM."

They also gave an example of a family, just for the sake of explaining what NUNCHI is capable of doing, who goes to Applebees at 5PM every Fri night, then to the movies at 7PM. When a caller, text or email arrives at 5PM, the phone automatically is not available...again you'd enter a customized message. At 7PM if someone tried to reach you...I'm at the movies...etc ditto.

You drive faster than 3 MPH...OFF.

All the features are password activated and can be over ridden by the "administrator."

Emergency contacts could still be set up to reach you.
