It took me quite a while to get through all of the re-exam documents. I am not suprised that E-Digital asked for an extension, since there is so much to get through. I noticed that the Sharp voice recorder used removable "Flash type EE-Proms" , maybe that is a technicality they can exploit. Also it uses a microprocessor and not a DSP. Plus it used RAM. So there are some differences. Plus the article had to be translated into English, how good is the translation? Also Sharp got a European patent, why not a US Patent? And why did the examiner put in so much effort on this? Is he trying to prove something?
