It is basically a statement given by Mark Gurries , his opinion on the prior art vs. 737 patent. He states that he believes the 737 patent is actually a media test rather than an integrity test. So basically testing the media to see if it can hold data without causing errors prior to writing data, rather than verifying data after it had been written. This is different than the prior art.

He also had to disclose that E-Digital is paying him $275 per hour. Congrats to him.
