What happens if we prevail in the re-exam wars? Do all the infringers wave the white flag and start throwing money at EDIG? I don't THINK soooo.

Does anyone really think that any of the 800# gorillas are going to cave? They'll fight it and prevail simply because..... they can. They will infringe with impunity, because.....they can. The little guys will pay because..... they can. Consider the size of the "settlements" EDIG has received thus far. If those are indicative of future settlements, you'll have to wait a few decades before you can buy that island you've had your eye on. There will be additional years of litigation....IF...DM or some other firm decides it's worth the effort.
