"A monolithically formed battery charger may be fabricated as an integral part of a multifunctional integrated circuit or as independent monolithically formed integrated circuit. The monolithically formed battery charger includes at least one step-down converter having a given duty ratio coupled to a battery-terminal interface that provides a stepped-down output voltage and current that may be used to charge a rechargeable battery."
Where does the initial input power come from for this circuit and how is it sensed for connection and de-connection to this "monolithic formed" ASIC circuit (Application Specific Integrated Circuit).....when needed?
"A power source > coupled >< to control circuity for supplying power >< to the device"
"to the device" = analog curcuits ><, ...digital curcuits><, ... VPP/VCC charge pump circuits ><, ....speaker circuits ><, ....Micophone circuits ><, ....compression circuits><, ...codec circuits ><(multiple if you wish), etc.....whatever you can conceive.
Control circuitry 21 (Micro-controller 21) rules, as it senses for coupling or de-coupling to the power source...device(application)conditions to be implemented ><, through which, new application advancements(Nunchi) will sense the initial analog conditions to be analized and used by others.
"It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that numerous modifications to circuitry and design could be made to the embodiment disclosed herein. It is to be understood that such modifications are intended to be comprehended within the present invention, as defined by the following claims."
Nunchi is a continuation of that phrase.....
