``Lets bring in an arbitrator and get this thing moving.``

That may have to happen to keep this deal going...digEsystem involvement or not.....there will always be a blistering at the relationship.

I can see where the problem lies with regard to IP ownership problems.

Henson put forth a broad recipe of ingredients for the DigePlayer.

One of the ingredients calls for hardware encryption(hard drive encryption)

It does not describe technically how this is to be achieved....for bios or needed physical components.

e.Digital says...Yes we can fit the bill....and they do...utilizing there proprietary elements they create a hardware encryption scheme.

For this one ingredient (of many required and technically created)...

They both own a scheme here...

APS as a needed encryption component for an IFE device.. irregardless of who creates it technically....owns an idea.

e.Digital technically creating it...owns pre existing IP it was created on.

....One has nothing to do with the other....however, one paid for an idea to be implemented.

LOG JAMB...the problem for e.Digital....they`re discovering their ability as they go along.....and for any services they render.....it had better be spelled out in detail for ownership rights based on proprietary developments.

Another learning adventure
