I agree with that...
The of monies, IMO, won't make a bit of difference. What will, is how strong the argument is now having been reinforced. Along with, what effect a potential preliminary / permanent injection might create for all parties involved in each case. The money stuff will have to be evaluated later.
All cases are device specific...some defendants may see things as not worth the fight and pay up. The device lines have a short life cycle, get what you can get while the line is running. It may lead to licencing future device lines without fighting about it.
edig is not giving away its tech to anyone...it's licensing specific issues...past, present and future.
IMO, there's more meat on edigs dish this round....giving room for negotiation.
