Yes but some are going to sell and are not long term investors. If they bought 2 million shares at an average of $.04,($80,000) and sold at $.14 ($280,000), they made a pretty good profit and I'm sure many others sold during the run up. If I would have bought 50,000 shares at $.05 or less, I would have sold those at $.15 or more giving me $5,000+ profit over a few months.
Several years ago, I traded about twenty stocks weekly on gains of $1-2 dollars on share prices of $10-30 dollars and made a lot of extra money. They were in the industry I made my career in and I was very familiar with all of the companies.
i should have continued with that strategy, but became interested in the hi tech stocks and we all know what happened to that market. Taught me a lessson about investing.
