Fuji is acting in its best interest.
IMO, the carrot (as I considered ) is in play......and if it involves the same language I recently read for the dismissal of 774 in the SNDK case with device specific considerations...it's good for Handal....get what you can on the other patents and clear the deck.
The resolution of the CE appeal will bring much more in the way of settlements...simply because the defendants will not be able to form the claims construction that theses cases and past cases have produced.
The RAM issue will be put to a final death....
