• litgation strategy
• current status of settlement discussions
• specific details of a settlement
• current negotiations in play to license NUNCHI & microSignet, nor name the players

I wonder why other companies discuss many of these things openly, including the giants like /Samsung, Apple, and others.

Fred does have an obligation to the shareholders and it must be his choice to not disclose any informtion. NDAs are agreed jointly and Fred if he wanted to could apply more pressure to the other company concerning some of the details.

There is no rule that states that settlement details cannot be disclosed including amounts and terms.

Are you suggesting that Fred was over ruled by every company about releasing information, keep in mind these are minimal dollar amounts and not earth shaking settlements.

You make it sound like the control is in the hands of the SEC, Government, Legal entity, etc., anmd forget that Fred is the other party for each settlement can make whatever decision they want.

I disagree that the decision is in the hands of the legal team.
